On the occasion of World Heart Day, the ministry of public health in collaboration with the national committee for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases and the foundation of Yaduna -" Women Heart Health Center, launched together the National Campaign for the early detection of cardiovascular diseases, during a press conference entitled “Don’t wait, your heart can’t wait!”. The campaign extends from 21/9/2016 till 30/11/2016.  
The campaign targets the Lebanese citizens at the age of 45 and above, to whom the early screening package for cardiovascular diseases will be offered at a minimal cost and it includes all the medical examinations and tests.
The foundation of Yaduna will play an important role in receiving Lebanese women, who underwent the screening tests and which overall risk -"exposure -" to developing cardiovascular diseases was found to exceed 10%. At Yaduna-WHHC these ladies will undergo further medical examinations and screening tests for free.
In addition to all of the above, a group of medical doctors will raise awareness and educational campaigns at the primary health care centers in all the Lebanese regions.
